Race 10 – Formula 1 Pirelli Grand Prix Du Canada 2025
The Canadian Grand Prix 2024 takes place in Montreal, Canada, at the Gilles Villeneuve circuit on the Notre Dame island, man-made in the middle of the St. Lawrence River, on Sunday, 15th June 2025.
Originally named the Île Notre-Dame Circuit, the circuit was built and finished in 1978 just in time for the Canadian Grand Prix to be moved from 2 previous venues, the Mosport Park and Mont-Tremblant circuits in Ontario and Quebec, respectively, due to safety concerns.
The inaugural Grand Prix in Montreal was won by hometown hero Gilles Villeneuve for Scuderia Ferrari and became a regular feature on the F1 Calendar for so many years.
The Grand Prix quickly became a regular event on the Formula One calendar, with the race taking place in Montreal for the next 30 years
Once held in late September, the event was moved to its present location in mid-June in 1982, to provide a warmer, more pleasant race weekend. Many great races have occurred at the track over the years, cementing its reputation as a truly unpredictable venue. However, the race was dropped from the 2009 Formula One calendar and replaced with the inaugural Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, after running for over two decades. On November 27, 2009, Quebec’s officials and Canadian Grand Prix organisers announced a settlement with Formula One Administration and signed a new five-year contract spanning the 2010–2014 seasons.
In 2011, the Canadian Grand Prix became the longest World Championship Grand Prix ever, after lasting over 4 hours due to a long delay on a rainy day.
The circuit was renamed in honour of Canadian Formula One driver Gilles Villeneuve, father of Jacques Villeneuve, in 1982, following his death earlier that year.
The “Wall of Champions” is the wall on the outside of the final chicane exit just before the start/finish straight. In 1999, three Formula One World Champions, Damon Hill, Michael Schumacher and Jacques Villeneuve ended their respective races by venturing too close to the wall and crashing.
This is how the nickname “The Wall of Champions” started. In 2009, Jenson Button and Sebastian Vettel had similar encounters.
Circuit Evolution Over Time
The Gilles Villeneuve circuit has seen various layouts and safety changes over the years. As part of safety requirements due to higher cornering and predicted per lap speeds of Formula One cars, new safety requirements were needed, with the older tire barriers were replaced with more advanced Tecpro barriers, and modifications to the angle of the exit of the last chican,e famously known as “the Wall of Champions”
Notable Mentions
The Hairpin Curve (Turn 10)
Turn 10, known as “the Hairpin Curve”, promotes overtaking on the exit or apex, depending on the line a driver takes when entering the hairpin. This hairpin is the perfect example of a 180-degree hairpin turn and requires a full wheel lock.
Wall of Champions (Turn14)
The slogan on the Wall of Champions at turn 14 reads “Bienvenue au Québec” (Welcome to Quebec). The name Wall of Champions was the result of Damon Hill, Jacques Villeneuve and Michael Schumacher coming into contact with it during the 1999 Canadian Grand Prix weekend.
Overtaking (Turns 12 & 13)
Turns 12 & 13, which is a long straight after “the hairpin curve”, presents one of the best overtaking opportunities for drivers over the lap.
The Gilles Villeneuve circuit is a 70-lap 2.71 miles (4.36 kilometres) track with 14 corners, lots of heavy braking chicanes and a well-known hairpin turn. The race weekend will start on Friday, June 13th and end on Sunday, June 15th, 2025.

Race 9 – ARAMCO Grand Premio De Espana (Spanish) Grand Prix 2025
The Spanish Grand Prix 2025 will be hosted at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmeló, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain on Sunday, 1st June 2025.
The Formula 1 Pre-Season winter testing also occurs at the Catalunya circuit, so drivers are no strangers to the track layout. With a perfect mix of high and low-speed corners and a very demanding right-hand turn 3. This is where new cars for every season are evaluated and pushed to the limit through miles of testing ahead of the new season.
Built in 1991 just in time for the Spanish Grand Prix in the same year, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has FIA Grade 1 license and considered a circuit with the perfect variety of high, medium and low speed corners, all the right ingredients to expose weaknesses in an F1 car and with the perfect long straight which is not too long or too short.
The circuit has the characteristics of most of the tracks on the F1 calendar, making it an all-around or baseline circuit. This is a very demanding track that pushes the limits of an F1 car’s aerodynamic abilities and qualities with wild swings in wind direction at the same or different corners at a different time on the same day.
Tyre compounds, which are critical to any F1 car’s performance, also suffer the same fate. This means they can be perfect when tested and found to be perfect, for example, in June, but not so good a few months down the line.
The Catalunya circuit is a 66-lap 2.88 miles (4.65 kilometres) track with 14 turns, with various changes in track characteristics and elevation.
The race weekend will start on Friday, May 30th and end on Sunday, June 1st, 2025.

Race 8 – TAG Heuer Grand Prix De Monaco 2025
The Monaco Grand Prix 2025 will take place at the “Monaco Circuit”, a street circuit located in Monte Carlo and La Condamine, Monaco. on Sunday 25th May 2025.
The Monaco Grand Prix track, also known as the Circuit de Monaco, is a legendary Formula One street circuit, widely regarded as one of the most challenging and glamorous races in the Formula One World Championship
Situated around the beautiful harbour of the Principality of Manco, the track is incredibly narrow and winding, with 18 turns weaving its way through the streets of Monte Carlo at a length of just 2.074 miles (3.337 kilometres).
This makes it a true test of driver skill and car control, with no room for error. The tight corners, slow speeds and elevation changes also make it difficult for drivers to overtake, which adds to the excitement of the race.
This is arguably the most prestogious F1 race on the calendar, and is known for the glamourous experience and celebrity guests who make the luxurious trip every year.
Preparations start about 4 weeks before the event when granstands, barriers, banners for sponsors start to appear on the streets of the city.
A few notable corners include Sainte-Dévote, the first and tight corner after the start-finish straight, famous for the risk drivers take by going very close to the barrier on the outside.
Then there is Casino Square, the iconic corner that takes drivers right past the famed Monte Carlo Casino. The Tunnel is the only tunnel section in Formula One, which can be very disorienting for drivers. The end or exit of the Tunnel presents one of the very few overtakingspotson te Circuit de Monaco
The Hairpin is a tight 180-degree 40mph (65kph) corner that leads onto the pit straight and the name of the hairpin chnages depending on the name of the hotel overlooking it.
Rascasse, is a challenging chicane that requires drivers to slow down significantly before accelerating again towards the final corner. Antony Noghes is the final corner before crossing the finish line.
The race weekend will start on Friday, May 23rd and end on Sunday, May 25th, 2025.

Race 7 – AWS Gran Premio Del Made In Italy E Dell’Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix 2025
The AWS Gran Premio Del Made In Italy E Dell’Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix 2025 (Emilia Romagna Grand Prix) takes place at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, also known as Imola, which is the town where it is located, on Sunday, 18th May 2024. The event name “Emilia-Romagna” is from the Italian region where the circuit is located. Surrounded by colourful buildings and some of Italy’s most well-preserved castles, the Emilia-Romagna region is an amazing spectacle with winding medieval streets.
Situated in the town of Imola in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, the track is named after Enzo Ferrari, founder of Scuderia Ferrari, and his son Dino, “Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari”. The circuit is and will always be one of the most unforgettable for joyful and sad reasons alike. There have been lots of drama-filled moments with tension, excitement and tragedy in the past, and it has probably been host to some of the most tragic and brilliant moments of Formula One’s history.
Imola was not designed for side-by-side due to its narrow width. For drivers, a combination of a narrow but short track with medium and high speeds makes one of the most enjoyable circuits on the calendar, but proves a difficult challenge for teams, engineers, the car and driver. The high-speed feel of a lap on an anti-clockwise track with varying gradients, changes, blind apexes, and very minimal run-off areas adds to the strain on the driver’s neck.
The importance of Qualifying is very crucial, as overtaking can be tough or almost impossible over the lap, except on the pit straight, which is just after a fast, flat-out final corner, only to be followed by another flat-out first turn. Acque Minerali, Rivazza, and Piratella corners have the old school Formula One characters and are brilliant to watch as they challenge the car and driver.
After a 14-year absence (since 2006), Imola, former home of the San Marino GP, made a return to the Formula 1 calendar under the name of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. Imola, the former home of the San Marino GP, has not appeared on the Formula One calendar since 2006, but returned in 2020. The event was originally intended to be held as a one-off event in 2020, to fill in for cancelled events on the revised F1 calendar due to during the COVID-19 crisis-ridden F1 campaign, and has remained ever since and in 2021 to replace the postponed Chinese Grand Prix.
Emilia Romagna Grand Prix returned on the 2022 calendar for the third time and was one of the 3 events to host the then-new sprint formats for the first time. There was no F1 Grand Prix event in 2023 due to major flooding caused by Storm Minerva.
This is the track on which Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger were killed over 30 years ago at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix, and will always be mentioned due to this. The decline of safety standards meant the event was dropped from the F1 calendar after the 2006 season. In the years that followed the cancellation, the circuit saw various safety upgrades and layout modifications, replacing fast corners such as Tamburello and Villeneuve with chicanes.
Being only just 80 km from the Ferrari base in Maranello, the event quickly grew in prestige, often acting as Ferrari’s home race. There were memorable scenes of Tifosi lining the hills of Imola in red, celebrating passionate and emotional victories for Ferrari and their drivers. Its popularity ensured its place on the calendar, and it consistently delivers unpredictable weather drama, strategy-filled races, and strong local support. In contrast to the ultra-modern circuits, Imola is a demanding purist’s track full of emotion.
This year’s race weekend marks the start of the European rounds of the Formula world championship season and there is already something to look forward to as Lewis Hamilton joins Ferrari, which is a dream for most Formula 1 drivers, and Mercedes finally brings an Italian driver, Andrea Kimi Antonell,i to Formula 1. There was an announcement a few years ago that the Grand Prix events would continue until 2025, so this might be the last for a while. The race weekend will start on Friday, May 16th, and run until Sunday, May 18th, 2025.
The track is in the countryside of Imola, in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna, featuring 19 corners, starting with a sequence of high-speed and chicanes, with the famous Tamburello and Villeneuve corners making up the first sector.
The second sector is a rollercoaster with a downhill braking zone at Acque Mineralli, and it ends with hilltop Variante Alta chicane and a tricky downhill run into Rivazza as two right-hand corners end this historic lap with a circuit maximum speed of 184mph (296.7km/h). According to the data provided by Formula Data Analysis, Max Verstappen was once clocked at 211.26mph (340km/h) at the end of the main straight on his final flyer.
The race weekend will start on Friday, May 16th and end on Sunday, May 18th, 2025. The race will be a 63-lap sprint on a 3.050-mile (4.909 kilometres) circuit.

Race 6 – Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix 2025
The Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix takes place in Florida USA, at the Miami International Autodrome, located on the private grounds of the Hard Rock Stadium complex in Miami Gardens, which is home to the NFL’s Miami Dolphins. The Stadium itself forms the backdrop to the start and finish line, with the pits and paddock club complex directly adjacent to the north side of the stadium.
The Miami International Autodrome is a temporary circuit with a permanent feel. The track is a development marvel, which is mostly flat, but features several small undulations with 36 different layout simulations, turned into a 19-corner street-like circuit with 3 straights and some mind-bending elevation changes between Turns 13 and 16, where the track goes over an exit ramp and then underneath the main street flyovers.
This is an FIA Grade 1 race circuit and infrastructure. The main attraction is the uphill elevation change at Turn 14-15 chicane, which feels like a compressed reverse of the famous Laguna Seca “Corkscrew”, has an uphill approach, with a crest at the mid point, and then a drop on exit. The chicane is technically referred to as a “Mistake Generator” which forces cars to work with mechanical grip rather than aerodynamics or ground effect grip. The track width varies between 10 and 15.24 meters, with an average lap speed of 128mph and a top speed of 200mph.
The layout of the Circuit was designed to cause very minimal disruption during race events, with local residents in mind. Similar to Albert Park, which hosts the Australian Grand Prix, the temporary nature of the track allows for physical structures, such as barriers and fences, to be completely removed when there is no racing events.
Although the Circuit does not use any public streets around Hard Rock Stadium, it does cross public roads, which means every couple of weeks before yearly race event,s the circuit and its safety features are assembled and dismantled just for the race weekend, allowingthe Hard Rock Stadium grounds to be converted back to normal.
The race weekend will start on Friday, May 2nd and end on Sunday, May 4th, 2025. This will be a 57-lap race on a 3.361-mile (5.41 kilometres) circuit at the Miami Dolphins Hard Rock Stadium with a mostly flat and wide track, lots of runoff areas, and multiple elevation changes featuring 19 corners. Quite a handful for race teams and engineers, but a driver’s favourite.

Race 5 – STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2025
The STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2025 takes place in the city of Jeddah at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. The track is a temporary street circuit with some permanent sections, located on the Jeddah Corniche, also known as the Jeddah Waterfront, a 30 km coastal resort area of the ancient Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah along the Red Sea
This is currently the third longest on the Formula One calendar after Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps and Las Vegas Strip Circuit. With Formula One cars averaging around 160mph (250km/h), the Jeddah Corniche Circuit is considered the fastest street circuit on the Formula One calendar and is the 5th full-night race on the Formula One calendar following Singapore, Bahrain, Sakhir and Qatar Grands Prix.
With the aim of designing a fast flowing track to really challenge F1 engineers, teams and drivers, the circuit was designed with Formula One’s own Motorsports team leveraging Google Earth for their potential layouts and the final result has so far lived to expectations by featuring 27 corners, which is the most corners of any track on the F1 calendar.
The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix race and qualifying are both held during the night, under the floodlights, where temperatures are substantially cooler than the day, although some of the junior category races are held during the day, with two of the three Formula One practice sessions held during daytime with high track temperatures.
The Jeddah Corniche, a coastal resort in the ancient Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah located along the Red Sea coastline and features a coastal road, recreation areas and the highest fountain in the world (King Fahd’s Fountain). The name “Jeddah Corniche” originates from the French and Italian terms for a “coastal road” along the face of a cliff.
The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2025 will take place on Sunday, April 20, 2025. The Grand Prix weekend, however, starts from Friday, April 18, to Sunday, April 20 2025.
This will be a 50 lap race on a 3.836 miles (6.174 kilometres) super fast flowing circuit with average speeds of 160mph and through the 27 corners, the most of any current F1 circuit under the night floodlights.

Race 4 – Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2025
The Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) is a premier motorsport venue located in Sakhir, Bahrain, and hosts the annual Bahrain Grand Prix. Inaugurated on March 17, 2004, it became best known as the host of the first Formula One event in the Middle East and the first country in the region to host the event.
Situated in desert terrain, the first problem was worries about sand being blown onto the circuit during grand prix events and causing red flags or disruptions. The organisers quickly found a solution to keep the sand off the track by spraying adhesive substances on the sand around the track to prevent and keep sand off the track from affecting the racing surface.
The BIC had a few issues before the inaugural race. There was a worry amongst race organizers regarding the circuit completion date and being ready in time for the 2004 Bahrain Grand Prix. Although in the end, the circuit was not fully complete, the Grand Prix weekend went ahead as normal with a good enough level of completion.
The Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) was the first Grand Prix circuit to be awarded the distinguished FIA Institute Centre of Excellence award. The track surface is made of greywacke aggregate, which was shipped to Bahrain from Bayston Hill Quarry located on the geographical feature ‘Sharpstone Ridge, situated on the southern outskirts of Shrewsbury in the United Kingdom.
Greywacke Aggregate was also used at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Yas Marina Circuit and has always been praised by F1 drivers for the high grip levels it offers. The first corner of the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) was renamed after seven-time Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher in honour of his achievements.
Since its opening race, the BIC circuit has delivered some of the most talked about moments of Formula One racing and still consistently delivers a spectacle in the desert and is also hosted as a night race under bright artificial lights.
The Bahrain Grand Prix 2025 will take place on Sunday, April 13 2025. The Grand Prix weekend however starts on Friday, April 11, 2025.
This will be a 57-lap race on a 3.363 miles (5.412 kilometres) circuit in the middle of the Sakir desert and boasts a unique sports and entertainment venue, in a night race setting, mixed with the highest levels of global motorsport.

Race 3 – Lenovo Japanese Grand Prix 2025
The Lenovo Japanese Grand Prix takes place at the famous Suzuka International Racing Course (simply known as Suzuka Circuit) on Sunday 6th April 2025. The Suzuka Circuit is a driver’s favourite and a high-speed challenging asphalt circuit with snaking “S” Curves (The Esses – Turns 3-7), two Degners (Degner Curbes – Turns 8 and 9), the technical Spoon Curve (Turns 13 and 14) and almighty 130R named for its 130-meter radius.
Suzuka Circuit track layout is in the shape of the number 8 and is currently the only Formula One track with a crossover where the track crosses over itself. This is famously called the Figure 8 design track and is currently one of only two racetracks in Japan that meet Formula 1 specifications.
The crossover happens when the 0.75-mile (1.2-kilometres) long back straight section (section 3) of the track overpasses the front section (section 2) with the help of an overpass. The crossing takes place just before turn 15 and crosses over the short straight between turns 9 and 10, but just after the start of turn 9.
As always, the race weekend will start on Friday, April 4th and end on Sunday, April 6th, 2025. This will be a 53-lap race on a 3.608-mile (5.807-kilometre) circuit in Suzuka City, Japan. The circuit boasts a full asphalt layout and a famously challenging but rewarding driver’s track.

Race 1 – LOUIS VUITTON AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2025
The Australian Grand Prix was the first Formula 1 race of the season for so many years, but the last time was 2019. In 2020 and 2021 the event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and Australia has not returned to its traditional position as the first race until 2025.
The Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix 2025 will take place at the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit in Melbourne on Sunday, 16th March 2025. As usual, race weekend starts on Friday, March 14th and ends on Sunday, March 16th, 2024.
Philip Island was the first to host the Australian Grand Prix event in 1928. In 1985, the event became part of the Formula One World Championship and has been held at the Albert Park Circuit in Melbourne since 1996, except for the 2020 and 2021 seasons, when the event was cancelled.
The Australian Grand Prix was originally held as the “100 Mile Road Race” at the Philip Island road circuit in 1928. The Adelaide Street Circuit launched the Grand Prix as a FIA Formula One World Championship from 1985 to 1995.
Adelaide was a demanding circuit and very much loved by fans, teams and drivers. The event was moved to the Albert Park Circuit in 1996 and has since been the home of the Grand Prix.
This is a very bumpy street circuit around the Albert Park Lake in Albert Park, Melbourne. The track consists of public roads, it does have medium and high-speed corners associated with purposely built race tracks. Run-off areas, safety zones, and concrete barriers are created yearly to support the event.
The track is very fast and requires concentration, but it lacks any real long straights to aid overtaking opportunities. Since 2021, the track has undergone some notable changes, including turn 9 and 10 modifications, which is now a fast sweeping turn into turns 11 and 12 instead of the previous heavy right to left corner.
Other track changes include widening of turn 1 (widened by 2.5 metres), turn 3 has been widened to the driver’s right-hand side by 4 metres, turn 6 widened by 7.5 metres, turn 7, and turn 15, the pit lane by 2 meters and the widening of turn 13 to prevent drivers defending their positions.
The whole circuit was given a much-needed resurfacing, which has been great for the Formula 1 event and the usual road traffic the circuit sees for the rest of the 51 weeks of the year.
This will be a 58-lap race on a 3.285-mile (5.278-kilometre) circuit in Melbourne, Australia. The circuit uses a combination of roads (Aughtie Drive and Lakeside Drive) around the city’s Albert Park.
